"Established in Bussang in 1989, Domaine de Champé is now a campsite located in the Vosges on the banks of the Moselle, at the crossroads between Alsace and Franche-Comté. It is one of the 3 "Mountain" villages offered by the Sûnelia group of campsites. Camping luxe Vosges offers a host of on-site services and activities, including a spa, restaurant, bar, pool area and year-round entertainment for all ages.

In the 1960s, Bussang was a popular spa and mineral destination for travellers. The town boasted top-of-the-range facilities and a wide range of hotels.
In the 1980s, tourist numbers in the region fell due to a decline in hotel accommodation. So it was only natural that Jean-Michel Gehin, a native of Bussang, wanted to revitalise local tourism by setting up in the Vosges region with a view to promoting its heritage and territory.
