A paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, the Ballons des Vosges Natural Park offers a wide range of activities to enjoy in all seasons and exceptional sites to discover during your stay at our Vosges campsite.

Water sports

The Ballons des Vosges are home to numerous bodies of water, as well as rivers and waterfalls that are ideal for a variety of water sports and leisure activities: on lakes or whitewater, the summer season is the perfect time for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, rowing or canyoning. A wide variety of leisure activities for enthusiasts and families alike.

Nature walks

Whether on foot, mountain bike, VTC or horseback, the Park is a sublime place to discover, whether you're a keen walker or a family outing in the great outdoors. The Park's valleys and heights are renowned for their rich biodiversity, which can be discovered in the company of a nature guide, on scenic walks along the ridges or on horseback. The Park's roads are also ideal for cycle touring, with prestigious mountain passes and numerous circuits and greenways in the Vosges. Mountain bikers will find an extensive network of signposted trails, including downhill tracks in the resorts. Numerous trails are also organised in the nature park, and there are signposted routes starting from various ski areas.

Winter activities

In winter, a blanket of snow covers the Vosges mountains and the family resorts open their doors for downhill and cross-country skiing, slalom, ski jumping, snowshoe trekking and tobogganing! A network of shuttles links the park's valleys to the various resorts.

Climbing

The Vosges mountains offer some beautiful cliffs and high rocks that are a firm favourite with climbing enthusiasts. Numerous sites have been developed to cater for beginners and experienced climbers alike. Of the 250 rock faces in the nature park, 30 natural sites are equipped and approved for recreational climbing. There is also a Via Ferrata in Bussang, as well as several adventure courses and indoor climbing walls in other municipalities in the park.
